Occupy WallStreet

The #OccupyWallStreet movement continues to spread with more than 1,500 sites. More and more people are speaking up for a society that works for the 99 percent, not just the 1 percent.
Here are 10 recommendations from the YES! Magazine staff for ways to build the power and momentum of this movement. Only two of them involve sleeping outside:
1. Show up at the occupied space near you.
Use this link to find the Facebook page of an occupation near you. If you can, bring a tent or tarp and sleeping bag, and stay. Or just come for a few hours. Talk to people, participate in a General Assembly, hold a sign, help serve food. Learn about the new world being created in the occupied spaces.
2. Start your own occupation.
Use this Meetup site. Or call together friends, members of your faith group, school, or community group. Reach out to people from parts of your community you don’t normally work with. Unexpected alliances keep the movement from getting labeled as partisan or representing only some people.
3. Support those who are occupying.
Most sites need food, warm clothes, blankets, tarps, sleeping bags, communications gear, and money. Many need people to do loads of laundry, to help with medical care, to provide legal support, to serve food, and to spread the word. Some people call in pizza orders from nearby vendors. Support the folks at Liberty Square in New York here, or check in with your local occupiers to see what they need.
4. Speak out. Get into the debates and the teach-ins.
Many occupation sites have workshops and discussions on critical issues of our time. Get into the discussion. Bring your expertise and reading materials to share. YES! Magazine is offering free copies of the current New Livelihood issue to occupied sites (request them by emailing JobsIssue@yesmagazine.org). Bring the discussions to other groups you are part of. Listen to perspectives you haven’t heard before. This process represents a critical, but under-reported side of the movement: People are shifting from being passive, frustrated observers of politics to  active, powerful players. Instead of waiting for our leaders to do the right thing, people from all walks of life are becoming leaders. It makes us unstoppable.
5. Share your story.
Post how you’re part of the 99 percent on Facebook, Twitter, blogs, or in print. Through this movement, people are discovering others who are also losing jobs and homes, who are overwhelmed by debt or working a dead-end job. Through this sharing, humiliation turns into compassion and self-respect. And it builds understanding of the sources and the impacts of our crisis: A Wall Street system that funnels wealth to the top 1 percent is leaving the rest of us behind. Community plus insight makes us powerful.
6. Be the media.
Show up with your video recorder, camera phone, or laptop and share the stories of the occupation. You can download a selection of posters donated by graphic designers and spread them around. Highlight the human dimension of the protests. It is harder for critics to disparage a movement when people see the faces of those involved.
7. Name the meaning of this moment.
What will make the world better for the 99 percent? How has the power of the 1 percent gotten in the way of your hopes and dreams? Make a sign, write a blog, update your Facebook page, or speak out on the issue that means the most to you. Include the phrase, “I am the 99 percent.”
8. Insist that public officials treat the occupations with respect.
The eviction of the Liberty Square occupation on Wall Street was averted by massive public resistance from those in the square and from others. Other occupations also need support. The 99 percent don’t have the money, political access, and media empires of the 1 percent; the occupations are one of the few ways we are building power. Ask your local officials to respect people's right to assembly.
9. Study and teach nonviolent techniques.
There are many examples of outside provocateurs who spark violent incidents that can discredit nonviolent movements such as this. The corporate media is hungry for violent images. (There’s already been an example of an admitted provocateur from the right-wing "American Spectator" who provoked pepper spraying at the National Air & Space Museum). Learn how to lovingly and firmly interrupt and contain violence, and teach what you know. Here are some resources.
 10. Be resilient.
This movement is here for the long term. Some efforts may fade because of cold weather or harsh police responses. Others may self-destruct through faulty process or violent outbreaks. The movement may be idealistic, but it won’t be ideal. Don’t get disillusioned; the demand for a society that serves the 99 percent won’t go away. The movement may morph, but it has become unstoppable. Help it evolve.
The genie is out of the bottle. People will no longer accept the systematic transfer of wealth and power fromwe the people to the 1 percent. In this remarkable, leaderless movement, each one of the 99 percent who gets involved helps shape history.

Irom Sharmila Chanu: 11 years of an epic struggle.

Q: Do U know Katrina Kaif ?

She is Irom Sharmila Chanu also known as the "Iron Lady of Manipur" or "Menghoubi" ("the fair one") is a civil rights activist, political activist, and poet from the Indian state of Manipur. On November 2, 2000, in Malom, a town in the Imphal Valley of Manipur, ten civilians were allegedly shot and killed by the Assam Rifles, one of the Indian Paramilitary forces operating in the state, while waiting at a bus stop. The incident later came to be known to activists as the "Malom Massacre". The next day's local newspapers published graphic pictures of the dead bodies, including one of a 62-year old woman, Leisangbam Ibetomi, and 18-year old Sinam Chandramani, a 1988 National Child Bravery Award winner. On the Friday third of November she had her last supper of pastries and sweets then touched her mother's feet and asked permission to fulfill her bounden duty. Three days after she began her strike, she was arrested by the police and charged with an "attempt to commit suicide", which is unlawful under section 309 of the Indian Penal Code, and was later transferred to judicial custody. Her health deteriorated rapidly, and the police then forcibly had to use nasogastric intubation in order to keep her alive while under arrest. Since then, Irom Sharmila has been regularly released and re-arrested every year since under IPC section 309, a person who "attempts to commit suicide" is punishable "with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year. Since 4th  November 2000, she has been on hunger strike to demand that the Indian government repeal the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (AFSPA) A law that gives Army the power to shoot anyone at their will, A draconian law with many other inhuman provisions, which she blames for violence in Manipur and other parts of India's northeast. Having refused food and water for more than 500 weeks, she has been called "the world's longest hunger striker". She has been fasting for the past 11 years. (the Manipur govt giving liquid food through her nose from last 11 years )
we doesn't know much about her because of "NO PUBLICITY",
Even Nautanki's like Rakhi Sawant, Salman Khan or Punam Pandey's are known to everybody but not a Brave woman like her who sacrificed herself for humanity.

Mu'ummar Qaddafi's last speech

In the name of Allah, the ...beneficent, the merciful...

For 40 years, or was it longer, I can't remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert, I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Ronald Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child. Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union.

I did all I could to help people Understand the concept of real democracy, where people's committees ran our country. But that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more. They told Americans and other visitors, that they needed "democracy" and "freedom" never realizing it was a cut throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest, but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.

No, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we've had since Salah-al-Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us.

Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called "capitalism" ,but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.

So, there is no alternative for me, I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following His path, the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help our African and Arab brothers and sisters.

I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are all my children, then so be it.

Let this testament be my voice to the world, that I stood up to crusader attacks of NATO, stood up to cruelty, stoop up to betrayal, stood up to the West and its colonialist ambitions, and that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and Muslim brothers, as a beacon of light.

When others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent. I never forgot my youth in Sirte, I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah-al-Deen, our great Muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself...

In the West, some have called me "mad", "crazy", but they know the truth yet continue to lie, they know that our land is independent and free, not in the colonial grip, that my vision, my path, is, and has been clear and for my people and that I will fight to my last breath to keep us free, may Allah almighty help us to remain faithful and free.

-Mu'ummar Qaddafi.

Diwali the Festival of Lights

Diwali in history

The history of Diwali is replete with legends and these legends are moored to the stories of Hindu religious scriptures, mostly the Puranas. Though the central theme of all legends point out to the classic truth of the victory of the good over the evils, the mode of their presentation and the characters differ. Diwali, being the festival of lights, lighting the lamp of knowledge within us means to understand and reflect upon the significant purpose of each of the five days of festivities and to bring those thoughts in to the day to day lives.

The five day of Diwali

The first day of Diwali is called Dhanvantari Triodasi or Dhanwantari Triodasi also called Dhan Theras. The second day of Diwali is called Narak Chaturdasi. It is the fourteenth lunar day (thithi) of the dark forthnight of the month of Kartik and the eve of Diwali. On this day Lord Krishna destroyed the demon Narakasur and made the world free from fear. The third day of Diwali is the actual Diwali. This is the day when worship for Mother Lakshmi is performed. On the fourth day of Diwali, Goverdhan Pooja is performed. The fifth day of the diwali is called Bhratri Dooj. It is a day dedicated to sisters.

Hindu Mythology
The Story of Rama and Sita: Lord Rama was a great warrior King who was exiled by his father Dashratha, the King of Ayodhya, along with his wife Sita and his younger brother Lakshman, on his wife's insistence. Lord Rama returned to his Kingdom Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, in which he put an end to the demon Ravana of Lanka, who was a great Pundit, highly learned but still evil dominated his mind. After this victory of Good over Evil, Rama returned to Ayodhya. In Ayodhya, the people welcomed them by lighting rows of clay lamps. So, it is an occasion in honor of Rama's victory over Ravana; of Truth's victory over Evil.

The Story of King Bali and Vamana Avatar(the Dwarf): The other story concerns King Bali, who was a generous ruler. But he was also very ambitious. Some of the Gods pleaded Vishnu to check King Bali's power. Vishnu came to earth in the form of a Vamana(dwarf) dressed as priest. The dwarf approached King Bali and said "You are the ruler of the three worlds: the Earth, the world above the skies and the underworld. Would you give me the space that I could cover with three strides?" King Bali laughed. Surely a dwarf could not cover much ground, thought the King, who agreed to dwarf's request. At this point, the dwarf changed into Vishnu and his three strides covered the Earth, the Skies and the whole Universe! King Bali was send to the underworld. As part of Diwali celebrations, some Hindus remember King Bali.

The Defeat of Narkasur by Lord Krishna: Lord Vishnu in his 8th incarnation as Krishna destroyed the demon Narkasura, who was causing great unhappiness amongst the people of the world. Narkasura was believed to be a demon of filth, covered in dirt. He used to kidnap beautiful young women and force them to live with him. Eventually, their cries for rescue were heard by Vishnu, who came in the form of Krishna. First, Krishna had to fight with a five-headed monster who guarded the demon's home. Narkasura hoped that his death might bring joy to others. Krishna granted his request and the women were freed. For Hindus, this story is a reminder that good can still come out of evil.

Krishna and The Mountain: In the village of Gokula, many years ago, the people prayed to the God Indra. They believed that Indra sent the rains, which made their crops, grow. But Krishna came along and persuaded the people to worship the mountain Govardhan, because the mountain and the land around it were fertile. This did not please Indra. He sent thunder and torrential rain down on the village. The people cried to Krishna to help. Krishna saved the villagers by lifting the top of the mountain with his finger. The offering of food to God on this day of Diwali is a reminder to Hindus of the importance of food and it is a time for being thankful to God for the bounty of nature.
Sikh Festival Diwali
In Sikh perspective, Diwali is celebrated as the return of the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Ji from the captivity of the city, Gwalior. To commemorate his undying love for Sikhism, the towns people lit the way to, Harmandhir Sahib (referred to as the Golden Temple), in his honour.

Jain Festival Diwali
Among the Jain festivals, Diwali is one of the most important one. For on this occasion we celebrate the Nirvana of Lord Mahavira who established the dharma as we follow it. Lord Mahavira was born as Vardhamana on Chaitra Shukla 13th in the Nata clan at Khattiya-kundapura, near Vaishali. He obtained Kevala Gyana on Vishakha Shukla 10 at the Jambhraka village on the banks of Rijukula river at the age of 42.

Resources are limited?

As a student of economics, I was always told that resources are limited and our needs are unlimited, and the shameful point to be noted is that this is the base of economics, In reality, according to me human wants are limited and resources are unlimited.Mahatma Gandhi truly says that “MOTHER EARTH IS CAPABLE TO FULFILL NEED OF EACH AND EVERY PEOPLE, BUT NOT THE GREED.” but human being is not greedy by nature.its result of scarcity but when you know that there is no scarcity at all than your behavior might be Chang. It simply means that greediness is human behavior not human nature.so we can says that resources are more than enough than our need, and here is the proof ........

Earth has a surface area of 196,940,400 square miles, slightly less than a perfect ball with a diameter of 7913.5 miles (which is the mean diameter of the Earth).
The surface area of the seven continents and all the islands of the world is about 57 million miles, while the total area of the six habitable continents (Antarctica excluded) is around 52 million square miles.
Including Antarctica, over one fifth of the globe's land mass is under water (oceans, lakes, rivers, etc.) or ice. This leaves about 45 million square miles of exposed land.
The human population on earth has crossed six billion. If we distribute all the exposed land evenly among all mankind, 133 people would have to share one square mile. What that means is that every single person on Earth, man woman and child would have close to five acres of land for his or her use. More precisely, each person would get 209,000 square feet of land, or a square plot of land 457 feet on each side.
Not all this land can be used beneficially however. A significant portion of the Earth's exposed land is uninhabitable or cannot be used for any agricultural purpose. Large portions lie in the far north. Large portions are extremely arid. Large portions are very mountainous. In sum, only about one fourth of all the land on earth, or somewhat more than 12 million square miles, is arable.
Today, over half of the arable land in the world is in fact not under cultivation. Bringing the unused land into service in many cases would require huge investments of money and effort, and would do considerable damage to the environment. For example, only about 28% of the arable land on the African continent is used for growing crops. Immense tracts of forests or jungles would have to be cleared to bring the rest of the arable land on that continent to productive use.
Thus, only about one eighth of each imaginary plot of land distributed to each person is land which is under cultivation. In effect, each person has a piece of land about 26,000 square feet (a square 161 feet on each side or just a bit more than ½ an acre) at his or her disposal on which to grow all that he or she needs.

soniya gandhi exposed.........

Letter No. 1

November 24, 2010.
Dr. Manmohan Singh,
Prime Minister of India,
South Block,
New Delhi.

Dear Prime Minister:
You may by now have realized that the 2G Spectrum scandal is not only bad for the country in the dimension of corruption, but now it emerges that there is a national security dimension too. The RAW, IB, CBI, ED all have enough material which they may have placed before you regarding the dubious aspects of the principal player in this scam.
According to my information two sisters, Anushka and Nadia, of Ms. Sonia Gandhi had received sixty percent of the kickbacks in this deal i.e. Rs.18,000 crores each. The frequent travel of Sonia Gandhi and her immediate family to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Dubai and parts of Europe including London requires to be probed under the law. What requires your special attention is the mode of the travel, not by commercial airliners, but by jets provided by the corporate sector which itself is illegal under the DGCA Rules. I find that often Ms. Sonia Gandhi and family have traveled to Dubai and then traveled onwards on private jets provided by dubious Arab business interests to Europe. It is not clear on what passport they have traveled. In Dubai they were felicitated by agencies of countries which are hostile to India including that of Pakistan.
You can no more not take a stand when evil is permeating in the country in the form of terrorism, religious conversion and demographic infiltration. The ill-gotten money in billions of dollars equivalent, the money laundering and Participatory Notes have all undermined our national integrity. The time is come for you to take a stand.
I am familiar with the information and data with our intelligent agencies. I also know that you can seek cooperation of other countries especially the United States in pooling information especially from inter Intelligence interaction that take place regularly. I hope therefore you will rise to the need of the hour and take effective steps to set right the sorry state of affairs in the country caused by overtly and covertly resident foreigners. In this connection I would like to meet you at the earliest. My Secretary will be in touch with your Secretariat to fix a time.
(Sd SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY )

Letter No. 2

December 10, 2010
Dr. Manmohan Singh,
Prime Minister of India,
South Block,
New Delhi.

Re: Cancellation of all 2G Licences
Dear Prime Minister:
This letter is in continuation of my earlier letters on the same subject.
There is now much evidence within your Government itself that Etisalat DB, the new name for Swan Telecom, and one of the favoured few which got the UASL 2G licenses for 15 circles in 2008, is a company that is a partner with the Pakistan Government’s Telecom Company: the PTCL (incidentally which is dominated by ISI, a pro-terrorist intelligence agency of the Pakistan army). Etisalat is also connected to China’s PLA. Etisalat DB’s Shahid Balwas is a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim (the underworld ‘Don’ and criminal who is a proclaimed offender). Balwas is also close associate of one of your Cabinet Ministers.
These data are available with your Home Ministry. The Home Ministry has also information that Etisalat DB has Telecom Surveillance Software that will enable it to track movements of anyone who takes a SIM card from it for its service.
This also is the position of Unitech Wireless which is another undeserving licensee, and which has now sold its controlling shares to Telenor which is also operationally based in Pakistan.
Hence to safeguard our national integrity, you must use your residuary extraordinary power vested in you as PM, to cancel all the 2G licences awarded, and order an auction for Indian bidders. The Supreme Court judgment in the Petrol Pump allotment matter also empowers the government. Therefore, Mr.Sibal’s 60 day notice to 2G Spectrum allottees is foolish in this background.
In this context, it is of concern that financial sleaze operator, Ottavio Quattrocchi, who has a temporary respite from incarceration thanks the indulgence of yours and your predecessor NDA governments, has become again active in India’s business fixing, sometimes operating from Malaysia on behalf of a large East Asian nation, sometimes from Milan for European interests. He leverages his son’s presence in India and extraordinary access to the Gandhis (Sonia and Rahul). It is essential that he be declared an‘undesirable alien’. I believe the CBI maintains such a list of undesirable persons and circulates that list to bureaucrats to ensure that no one entertains any persons on that list.
I also draw your attention to the baneful influence of one Ms. Farida Ataullah, a Pakistani with dubious connections (during the Benazir Bhutto tenure as PM she was her ‘bag person’), who has been a close friend of Ms. Sonia Gandhi for decades– so much so that she was Chief Guest of Honour at a select gathering at the wedding of Ms Gandhi’s daughter, Priyanka in the mid 1990s. She lives in Dubai and co-ordinates all kinds of nefarious activities in and out of India.
Perhaps because of her influence, an important member of the core group of the Congress Party called the Mumbai and Maharashtra police officials to his suite in Oberoi Hotel Mumbai after the 26/11 terrorist attack, and directed that “Indian collaboration” in 26/11 should not be probed.
All these facts put together paint a grim picture of the national security scenario in the country. Pakistan was defeated four times in open military warfare by us but because of corruption in high places today flowing from the well known “Gangotri”, Pakistan may succeed in undermining our national integrity through such well placed persons and effect a soft subversion of the Indian nation.
I write this letter to you place my concerns on record. As a public person who has been elected to Parliament five times and held Cabinet rank posts twice in the Union Government, I have a duty to inform you of these developments that I have been apprised of by my trusted friends in India and abroad. Please verify for yourself these facts and accordingly discharge the oath of office that you have sworn to uphold.
Yours sincerely,

Light a candle in support of Anna Hazare

Anna Hazare is fasting for a corruption-free nation, for our present and for everybody's future. The least we can do is to show our support for him. On April 8th, 6 pm onwards let us all converge at a public place in our own cities and light a candle in support of Anna Hazare.

There are no formalities, no leaders, no dress-code. Just go to a prominent public place in your city and light a candle there. You can go alone or in a group. Lets spread the light of Jan Lokpal. Today we are millions, its time to reach out to billions now and spread the word. Let us take this movement to thousands of small cities, towns and villages and this one step will ensure that the word goes out faster. If you are in a big city, light a candle in your own society/colony.

If you can't go to to a public place, make sure you light a candle at your own place and if somebody asks you, what this is about, tell them about Anna Hazare and Jan Lokpal.

Don't forget to upload a picture on our facebook page!!!

SCREAM AND SAY I’M THIEF, I’M ROBBER I’M MURDERER

Note:  I promise that once you finish reading this, you will scream and say, I am thief, I am murderer, I am robber.
Let’s have a look at t beautiful story. Four close friends John, Raj, Aman & Maya decided to travel in deserted places in search of a fortune. For this, they set out on a decided date with the needed food and water stock, along with the required weapons for safety, in a bag. During the journey John thinks once that the journey is very long and there are chances to get lost. So what if the stock of food and water gets finished? So he cuts Aman’s bag from below and cleverly takes out his food items for himself. From the decided place, the four friends set out in different directions for the journey. Amongst them, Aman, who has set out in south dies due to lack of food and water. So friends do you think John is responsible for Aman’s death? Is John a murderer?
Okay friends, now I will not bore you by writing another story? I had heard stories in my childhood regarding robbers. From that I had gathered that to snatch other’s thing is theft and robbery and the person responsible for this is thief and robber. Do you agree with my definition of robbers?
If your response to the story above is positive and you are even a little agreed to my definition of robbers, it shows that you are coming from a good family. And I should congratulate your parents, relatives, friends and teachers. Friends, now on the base of broad mindedness, let ‘s have a look on the article on a broad base, All the living things on this earth are like those four friends in search of the fortune. And nature provides fully enough stock for each individual. Let us divide the total food stock with the number of people in the world to find the available stock to each. Divide the total land area with the population to get the available stock to each. Divide the total land area with the population to get the available area to each. The total cloth production of this world is enough to cover the people all around. Divide the total money of the world with the population to see how much wealth a person can get. Leave the world , talk about India .  The black money worth 1600 billion dollars in Swiss Bank, if distributed amongst India’s poor and middle class people numbering 45 crore, won’t each get one lacs of rupees ? And if this amount is distributed amongst 20 crore families of India, each can get two lacs rupees.
Matching these figures would show that nature has given all individuals more than enough to sustain themselves. Then why are people starving? Why are people roaming around naked helplessly living on footpaths? The answer is very obvious. We, Yes, we have taken over their necessities.
We all know that john was responsible for Aman’s death, john has killed Aman. But the postmortem report of Aman shows that the reason of death was starvation .this way we are responsible for the death of those crores of people rotting away in poverty. We are guilty to those lying down on footpath. Our hands are bloody with the killing of people due to starvation of them. We are their murderer. We have collected things more than our necessities. (Theft word would suit better than collection). Check your wardrobe, Count seven pairs for seven days. (Even though this is the extreme to those who follow rules of Gita and simplicity and pity if bible). Still there are so many clothes in our wardrobe. The law of nature, without exceptions, says that the Nature produces for us, that is more than enough for us, and if we only take the needful, there would be no poverty and starvation. But in our case, this is going on. So, we can say that we are thieves, robbers and murderers. In this regard, Gandhiji has said that “Mother Earth is capable to fulfill the need of every person, but not the greed.” There is no difference between us and the person who snatches other’s thing, better known as robbers. The economic hierarchy of our country as well as of the world should be like no one is painted by the lack of food and clothing, and everyone should be made available with all the necessities of life. JUST LIKE everyone has equal right on air and water, or should be having equal right, everyone must have equal right on food and clothes as well. If a single person, community and country have it, then it is called theft and robbery. Yes, it is.
And the present economist has such an ideology which is responsible for all this. Till today, as a student of economics, I was always told that man is selfish, his end is unlimited and resources are limited. And the point to be noted is that this is the base of economics, In reality, according to me, human is God’s beautiful creation so how can be so selfish ? The need of humans are limited and related to that, the nature is giving him much more. Present economic situation increase stress on society, but in reality there is need to reduce it.
God include new thing everybody for our arising need, so if we keep faith on God then he will fulfill our needs. This we can learn from past stories of noble & innocent persons from bible and Rmayana. we do not believe in present tense, which is reality .Past is gone and future is not known So the life believes in present tense ,we live in future and past the reality of present tense is not experienced by men. Entire existence except men leaves in present tense. Birds, animals, plants, everybody make and secure their food and livelihood on daily basis .only men do not have trust in God. he makes the mind from past experience and prepare for future. there is no existential living by humanity. In our house we have many things which are useless and moving here and there. for the lack of this things crores of peoples who are being for this we are responsible. So let’s say and sought “we are thieves, murderers and robbers”

Service quality poor
I had subscribed to internet services at home through Tikona from end of May 2010. Since that day i am facing problem that I am unable to get my connectivity properly and due to which my downloads get waisted and I have to go to internet parlours for accesiong internets.
I have made several compaints in these 1.5 months but no one hears the same. Only once a person had come to correct but again the same problem started.
They have collected Rs 500 for installation an last month bill of 907. I have asked for refunds of the same and close the account if the service are not good.
my id is 1101281271 and I am Mahendra. my e mail id is m_premrajka@hotmail.com
Bad Internet Service
This is regarding Tikona's "GOOD FOR NOTHING" internet service which they are running in NOIDA.
I took the Tikona internet connection in April 2010.
It was all good the very 1ST day, I called up the customer care, a guy from the collections came to collect the money and required documents within an hour.
He prmoised that the connection will get started within a Day.
But there was no sign of any thing happenning for the next few days, until I called up the customer care atleast 5 times.
Finally a guy came only after 5 days to setup the connection.

Again it was all ok for the very 1st day, the signals were fine and I was able to connect.
Starts 2nd day, and I have not been able to connect the internet because there are no signals anywhere inside or near my house.
The modem is a piece of JUNK. I have not been able to connect even when I stand outside my house in the open or on the terrace.
There are NO SIGNALS NOWHERE.

I called up the customer care like a 20 times in last 25 days, each time I got the same reply "Sir, you request is under process, you will recieve a request# on your mobile, and our technician will visit your home tomorrow"
I have recieved no request# on my mobile for the complaints I have logged and there is no GOD DAMN sign of no Technician.

Its been 25 days since I am trying get a technician to fix this. I have also called them up to have the connection disconnected.
But they are even not willing to visit and disconnect and take away their modem.
Adding to the misery I have recieved a bill of Rs220 for using nothing at all (and I guess for calling their customer care and disturbing their DUMB Customer Care Representatives).

Please take some strict action against this fraud company.

Dear friend,
I am completely agree with you, I am one of the customer like you, I have taken the connection on 6th March and after a week service went down, inspite of several complaints engineer haven't visited and I have escalated this to their nodal officer MR. Vikas Bhosale (mumbai) and to their sales and customer care head but these shameless people never come back.I have raised disconnection request and after 15 days they disconnted the service but sent me the bill for 2 months and when I called the customer care he says, your connection is active.
Really I have never seen such a cheater and pathetic company where from top to bottom these people are cheating.

I am recomending to all the people that we will either go to consumer court together or go to media, to teach a leason to these frauds, otherwise they will continue to cheat the consumers.

Please pass my message to all tikona complain forum and together we file a case against them and include the media.

I guess there is nothing we can do except spreading the awareness.
We don't want to waste our time going to courts knowing the conditions of courts in India where there is extremely hard to get justice and when we have other important stuff in life to deal with.

They have not been able to cease their operations even when we have more than 23 pages of complains registered here, with more than 20 complains per page.

So my advise is to use the internet to spread the awareness.
Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, and other social networking websites will help for sure.

slow speed and no cooperation from customer care & technical department
Dear Consumer Forum,

I recently subscribed to Tikona Digital Networks which projects itself as India's best Digital ISP.

I have taken new Internet Wireless connection from Tikona on 14 March 2010 which has been activated on 27 March. At the time subscription, the speed was mentioned as 300kbps.

I am now victim of this ISP after paying Rs.500 towards intallation charges for a 300kbps internet with a Wi-Fi enabled modem. The service provider has deceived us by installing broadband connection with a cable modem. In addition this cable connection works only intermittently with a very low speed of 2Kbps to 3 Kbps.

I made ample number calls to the Tikona care and ended up gaining nothing. Every time we make a call, they ask of a time period of 24 hours which now added up to 15 days.

This is a Fraud Company - false committments.

Please address my query & take action against this Company.

Hi Brahm,

Hope you are doing well.

I am facing the same issue...

- I have subscribed for FUL599 plan (300kbps) 2 weeks ago.
- Internet connection is In-consistent.
- I am getting only 40-80 kbps speed (and rarely 100 kbps if I stop windows firewall).
- I am not getting a satisfactory technical support. Their staff seems to be totally unprofessional.
- I wonder, that how TIKONA is surviving here with such a In-Competent, Un-skilled, and Un-professional team (in all the fronts either Sales, Installation, Technical or Customer care staff).

Sharad

MONEY AS DEBT

Sir Josiah Stamp, director of the Bank of England and the second richest man in Britain in the 1920s. Speaking at the University of Texas in 1927, he dropped this bombshell:
The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banking was conceived in inequity and born in sin . . . . Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money, and, with a flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again. . . . Take this great power away from them and all great fortunes like mine will disappear, for then this would be a better and happier world to live in. . . . But, if you want to continue to be the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let bankers continue to create money and control credit.
Robert H. Hemphill, Credit Manager of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, wrote in 1934:
We are completely dependent on the commercial Banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the Banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system
Graham Towers, Governor of the Bank of Canada from 1935 to 1955, acknowledged:
Banks create money. That is what they are for. . . . The manufacturing process to make money consists of making an entry in a book. That is all. . . . Each and every time a Bank makes a loan . . . new Bank credit is created -- brand new money.
Robert B. Anderson, Secretary of the Treasury under Eisenhower, said in an interview reported in the August 31, 1959 issue of U.S. News and World Report:
When a bank makes a loan, it simply adds to the borrower's deposit account in the bank by the amount of the loan. The money is not taken from anyone else's deposit; it was not previously paid in to the bank by anyone. It's new money, created by the bank for the use of the borrower.
Henry Ford said it best: "It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

speech on indian independence by jawaharlal nehru.

Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance. It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of India and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity.

At the dawn of history India started on her unending quest, and trackless centuries are filled with her striving and the grandeur of her success and her failures. Through good and ill fortune alike she has never lost sight of that quest or forgotten the ideals which gave her strength. We end today a period of ill fortune and India discovers herself again. The achievement we celebrate today is but a step, an opening of opportunity, to the greater triumphs and achievements that await us. Are we brave enough and wise enough to grasp this opportunity and accept the challenge of the future?

Freedom and power bring responsibility. The responsibility rests upon this Assembly, a sovereign body representing the sovereign people of India. Before the birth of freedom we have endured all the pains of labor and our hearts are heavy with the memory of this sorrow. Some of those pains continue even now. Nevertheless, the past is over and it is the future that beckons to us now.

That future is not one of ease or resting but of incessant striving so that we may fulfill the pledges we have so often taken and the one we shall take today. The service of India means the service of the millions who suffer. It means the ending of poverty and ignorance and disease and inequality of opportunity. The ambition of the greatest man of our generation has been to wipe every tear from every eye. That may be beyond us, but as long as there are tears and suffering, so long our work will not be over.

And so we have to labor and to work, and work hard, to give reality to our dreams. Those dreams are for India, but they are also for the world, for all the nations and peoples are too closely knit together today for any one of them to imagine that it can live apart Peace has been said to be indivisible; so is freedom, so is prosperity now, and so also is disaster in this One World that can no longer be split into isolated fragments.

To the people of India, whose representatives we are, we make an appeal to join us with faith and confidence in this great adventure. This is no time for petty and destructive criticism, no time for ill-will or blaming others. We have to build the noble mansion of free India where all her children may dwell.

    II

The appointed day has come-the day appointed by destiny-and India stands forth again, after long slumber and struggle, awake, vital, free and independent. The past clings on to us still in some measure and we have to do much before we redeem the pledges we have so often taken. Yet the turning-point is past, and history begins anew for us, the history which we shall live and act and others will write about.

It is a fateful moment for us in India, for all Asia and for the world. A new star rises, the star of freedom in the East, a new hope comes into being, a vision long cherished materializes. May the star never set and that hope never be betrayed!

We rejoice in that freedom, even though clouds surround us, and many of our people are sorrow stricken and difficult problems encompass us. But freedom brings responsibilities and burdens and we have to face them in the spirit of a free and disciplined people.

On this day our first thoughts go to the architect of this freedom, the Father of our Nation [Gandhi], who, embodying the old spirit of India, held aloft the torch of freedom and lighted up the darkness that surrounded us. We have often been unworthy followers of his and have strayed from his message, but not only we but succeeding generations will remember this message and bear the imprint in their hearts of this great son of India, magnificent in his faith and strength and courage and humility. We shall never allow that torch of freedom to be blown out, however high the wind or stormy the tempest.

Our next thoughts must be of the unknown volunteers and soldiers of freedom who, without praise or reward, have served India even unto death.

We think also of our brothers and sisters who have been cut off from us by political boundaries and who unhappily cannot share at present in the freedom

that has come. They are of us and will remain of us whatever may happen, and we shall be sharers in their good [or] ill fortune alike.

The future beckons to us. Whither do we go and what shall be our endeavor? To bring freedom and opportunity to the common man, to the peasants and workers of India; to fight and end poverty and ignorance and disease; to build up a prosperous, democratic and progressive nation, and to create social, economic and political institutions which will ensure justice and fullness of life to every man and woman.

We have hard work ahead. There is no resting for any one of us till we redeem our pledge in full, till we make all the people of India what destiny intended them to be. We are citizens of a great country on the verge of bold advance, and we have to live up to that high standard. All of us, to whatever religion we may belong, are equally the children of India with equal rights, privileges and obligations. We cannot encourage communism or narrow-mindedness, for no nation can be great whose people are narrow in thought or in action.

To the nations and peoples of the world we send greetings and pledge ourselves to cooperate with them in furthering peace, freedom and democracy.

And to India, our much-loved motherland, the ancient, the eternal and the ever-new, we pay our reverent homage and we bind ourselves afresh to her service.

    JAI HIND.
